with the company "Netflix." Apple aims to begin offering the original programming service sometime next year. They have been discussing and preparing this issue with executives from Hollywood. Apple, in California are looking to start hiring employees planned division in the coming months, however, we are not sure if it will be focused on TV shows or movies.
This could affect the business in a good way because they could earn more profit for their business however, a lot of market research and money will have to go in to this.
This could affect key stakeholders such as employees who work for the business because they could get promoted to higher jobs to work for the new entertainment content for apple. Apple will hire more employees so they will have to pay more for them to work.
This idea could affect the company "Netflix" because Netflix has over 60 million customers however many of their customer may transfer to Apple to enjoy their entertainment and movie streaming instead. Furthermore, Netflix have decided to not renew their contract with Epix and epix will not move to a company called "Hulu." This means, that thousands of titles of popular movies and series will be removed from Netflix in September, therefore giving their subscribers another reason to transfer to apple instead. Some of the movies which will no longer be available are: Hunger Games: Catching Fire," "The Wolf of Wall Street," and "Star Trek Into Darkness" It depends on the new movies and series which will be added if they will benefit the company Netflix.
